Sopranos - budgies on a Singer

Like many Australians of my vintage, I grew up with the tales of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie, two gumflower babies who went on adventures in the bush. The books were written by May Gibbs - the first edition published in 1918. Gibbs' illustrations are still popular today and I was able to pick up a length of material from my local Spotlight store and arranged it with my antique Singer Sewing machine ( a 66K with Lotus decals 1907-1939). Here, three budgerigars set up a chorus. "budgies" are small parrots, native to Australia, and are very popular as pets.
